Jessie Cruickshank is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of discipleship, neuroeducation, and experiential education. She has spent over a decade applying neuroeducation research to discipleship, ministry training, experiential education, adventure education, and organization development. She is an ordained Foursquare minister who serves the denomination at a regional and national level. Jessie is the co-creator/co-founder of the 5QCollective, co-authoring Activating 5Q: A User’s Guide with Alan Hirsch.  She also serves as the Lead Driver of 100Movements, and international collective of movement catalysts.

She completed her Ed.M. in Harvard’s Mind, Brain, and Education program and has edited several books on the application of neuroscience and cognitive psychology to the field of education. She has also co-authored several publications including Understanding and Mastering Complexity: Co-Constructed Learning Enhances Understanding, Information Age Newsletter edited by Robert Sylwester; Evolving Kolb: Experiential Education in the Age of Neuroscience, Journal of Experiential Education, and The Women of Artist Bill Schenck: An Essay on One Artist’s Philosophy and the  Emerging Convergent Era.

Jessie was the Program Director and Administrative Director for Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries (SROM) where she was instrumental in the development of SROM into the premier Christian outdoor program in the world. Recently she served as the COO/CFO of an engineering firm helping the company experienced unprecedented growth by applying social-emotional learning research and work environment management to create an atmosphere of high creativity and high productivity.

She is a philosopher, neuro-ecclesiologist, licensed Christian minister, and is currently authoring research in faith development theory.  Her main goal, whether in education, faith or business, is to create intentional environments where people can learn and grow, by working with the brain and treating individuals as whole persons.
